4 weeks down the line and still no appointment Told to ring at 8 each morning when you finally get through about 11 told no more appointments ring tomorrow at 8. When you explain that's what you are doing each day told well come down and we will see if any appointments available. Only to go down and be told no appointments.If nobody can get through why are there no appointments . Why can you not book appointments I like you used to a few days in advance. This seriously needs reviewing.. Thinking of changing practice and putting formal complaint in. Receptionists are so unhelpful and miserable

Great practice, wonderful and helpful staff. Nice modern building with a chemist attached, couldn't be better. Well done to Dr Cardwell and Co.

It is often IMPOSSIBLE to contact this practice by telephone in the morning. It rings once, and then, straight away, there is a constant engaged tone; any urgent appointment or doctor's visit needed would be impossible to book! This sorry state of affairs has been going on for a very long time even after numerous complaints about it. When will they wake up to the fact that the telephone system needs some attention?

Dear Patient We have increased in size and the phone system is not the best. we are very aware and try and have more staff answering at peak times but the demand is more than we can cope with. We are holding our next patient meeting on Tuesday 14th of June and Im sure we will be discussing this problem. I can only apologise for the frustration you must feel trying to get through on the phone.

I have tried to get an appt to see the GP today. From 8.00 to 8.07 am there was a message saying the surgery was closed. When I eventually got a ring tone from 8.08 to 08.45 the telephone has rang 8 times and then it cuts me off! Not sure how I am supposed to get an appt this way.

Dear Patient we are sorry you have had problems with phoning the practice. we are aware and trying to make some inproveents. We are holing a patient meeting on Tuesday 14th of June and Im sure this will be discussed then and we will try to inform patients of any furhter development we can try.

Dr Jag - Locum - was brilliant with a speedy emergency referral. Faye - has just done my bloods - generally people find it difficult to do, I get nauseous etc- she was great - calm, lovely and did it brilliantly in one go. Thank you all!
